Correspondence relating to the Chamberlain case, all dated 1985, including: a letter from L. Smith discussing the alleged blood on the dashboard of the car; correspondence with D.J. Barritt, a stipendiary magistrate in Alice Springs; and correspondence with Mr Ken Chapman, about information contained in the Chamberlain Innocence Committee booklet of New Forensic Evidence. There is also: a typescript of an "Open letter to all Australians and my friends" written by Lindy Chamberlain from Darwin Prison on 12 November 1985; a leaflet from the Chamberlain Innocence Committee with a bibliography of the contents of their kit; a copy of part of the transcript of court proceedings, on 28 October 1982, relating to the alleged blood found on the dashboard of the car; and a "N.T. Chamberlain Support Group Newsletter" dated August 1985.

On 17 August 1980 Alice Lynne (Lindy) Chamberlain was camping with her husband, Michael, and children at the Ayer's Rock camping ground when her youngest child, Azaria, disappeared from the family tent. Lindy Chamberlain was subsequently convicted of the murder of her daughter and sentenced to life imprisonment.
